Who they are
Story
I am the CTO at Saia-Agrobotics and furthermore an inventor and engineer. For over 20 years I have designed robotic systems for horticulture. In 2019 I co-founded Saia-Agrobotics, a spin-off from Wageningen University & Research. I lead the product development and I am responsible for all the technical greenhouse operations plant, logistics and robot wise at Saia and try my best to inspire the teams to come up with the best and imaginative ideas to fulfill our dream to build the first automated greenhouse of the future. Furthermore, I am proficient in designing tooling or end-effectors for horticultural robots and have developed a new design method for end-effectors during my Masters at Wageningen University.
