Amir Zjajo

Amir Zjajo, PhD, SMIEEE, is Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at Innatera Nanosystems, where he leads the design engineering of spiking neural processors and guides research for the company's technology roadmap. With a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, including a PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology and an M.Sc. from Imperial College London, he has extensive experience from his tenures at Philips Research Labs, NXP Semiconductors, and Technische Universiteit Delft. His expertise lies in energy-efficient mixed-signal circuit and system design for neuromorphic signal processing, inference, and bionic electronic circuits for autonomous cognitive systems. Dr. Zjajo is also an accomplished author, having published several books and over 90 papers, alongside holding more than 20 U.S. patents.
