Mainport Innovation Fund

Mainport Innovation Fund (MIF) is a Dutch venture capital fund that accelerates innovation in sustainable aviation, mobility, and logistics. Established in 2009 and restructured with MIF II in 2015, it was initiated by Royal Schiphol Group, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Delft University of Technology, NS Dutch Railways, and the Port of Amsterdam. Managed by NBI Investors, MIF joined forces with SHIFT Invest in 2022, forming part of the largest climate impact-oriented VC fund in the Netherlands. It invests in early-stage companies, leveraging its partners' strategic expertise and global networks, with partners often serving as pilot customers.
