UvA Ventures Holding

UvA Ventures Holding BV, established in 1992, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the University of Amsterdam dedicated to bringing scientific innovations and expertise to the market and society. It aims to commercialize promising technologies by founding or investing in new ventures. The organization manages subsidiaries in contract research and services, stimulates entrepreneurship, invests in new ventures, and oversees shareholdings, including those from Amsterdam UMC Ventures Holding and HvA Ventures Holding. UvA Ventures supports academics with governance, finance & control, management, and advisory services.
