EDF Pulse Ventures

EDF Pulse Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of the EDF Group, established in 2017 to manage its venture capital fund. It focuses on identifying and investing in innovative businesses and solutions from both internal and external startups, with a core mission to build a carbon-neutral future. They primarily support high-potential cleantech startups in the energy transition field, offering strategic guidance, business synergies within the EDF ecosystem, and significant R&D support. As a strategic shareholder, they provide capital contributions without predefined durations, actively participating in governance. Since its inception, EDF Pulse Ventures has invested approximately €540 million, generating around €220 million in value.
