Amsterdam Academic Angel Fund (3xA Fund) is an angel fund established in 2022, backed by Vrije Universiteit and the University of Amsterdam. It focuses on financially supporting very early-stage startups emerging from these academic environments. The fund provides a €10,000 initial investment via convertible loans to entrepreneurial students and alumni within 24 months of graduation. Their aim is to bridge the gap between academia and society, enabling groundbreaking innovations to create meaningful impact.
