INSEAD Endowment

The INSEAD Endowment is the institutional investment fund of INSEAD, The Business School for the World. Its primary mission is to support the school's educational and research initiatives by maximizing long-term risk-adjusted returns. The Endowment diversifies its portfolio across multiple asset classes, with a meaningful allocation to private markets, including venture capital in early-stage tech firms and private equity in lower middle-market companies. It integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into its decision-making. The Endowment does not directly invest in startups but acts as a limited partner in funds that do. It also fosters entrepreneurial ecosystems through initiatives like the Global Private Equity Initiative and partnerships with alumni-led VC firms.
