Hitachi Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of the Hitachi Group, established in June 2019. With over $1 billion in assets under management, including a recent $400 million Fund IV, it invests globally in early-stage and growth-stage technology companies. Hitachi Ventures aims to foster innovation by blending Hitachi's global reach with the agility of startups, focusing on strategic and technical relevance to Hitachi's businesses. Its portfolio consists of 38 startups, with approximately half collaborating with Hitachi's business units.
