Creative Destruction Lab

Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. It delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage, science- and technology-based companies. CDL operates a global startup program for seed-stage, science-based companies, employing an objectives-based mentoring process by accomplished entrepreneurs, angel investors, economists, and scientists. It aims to increase the commercialization of academic inventions and has generated over CAD$51B in equity value for participating companies. The organization focuses on unlocking enterprise productivity through AI and other advanced technologies.
