PIER71 (Port Innovation Ecosystem Reimagined at BLOCK71) is a joint collaboration between the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and NUS Enterprise, the entrepreneurial arm of the National University of Singapore. Established in 2018, its mission is to nurture Singapore's maritime innovation ecosystem. PIER71 designs and delivers programs, such as the Smart Port Challenge, to identify industry challenges and support entrepreneurs from ideation to acceleration. It connects startups with markets, demand drivers, technology solution providers, and a network of investors, fostering the development and deployment of innovative maritime solutions.
