Sportinnovator

Sportinnovator is the national sports innovation network of the Netherlands, initiated by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and supported by ZonMw. Its mission is to accelerate and apply innovations that foster greater sports participation, enhance top-level athletic performance, and promote sustainability in sports facilities. Operating as a neutral, coordinating entity, Sportinnovator brings together sports innovation centers, municipalities, businesses, sports providers, and researchers. Over a decade, the organization has evaluated 1,250 innovative ideas, supported more than 500 initiatives, and successfully launched over 100 innovations into the market.
