Samenwerkingsverband Noord-Nederland (SNN)

Samenwerkingsverband Noord-Nederland (SNN) is the Northern Netherlands Alliance, a collaborative body of the three northern provinces (Drenthe, Fryslan, Groningen) and four largest cities in the region. SNN's mission is to stimulate, facilitate, and connect people, ideas, and ambitions that contribute to the socio-economic development of Northern Netherlands. They serve as a managing authority for various grant programs, including European funds like the European Regional Development Fund (EFRO) and the Just Transition Fund (JTF). SNN provides subsidies for innovation, investment, training, and digitization for businesses, as well as sustainability and housing initiatives for individuals. Their focus is on regional development through financial support and political representation.
