EIC Fund

The EIC Fund, established in 2020, serves as the venture capital investment arm of the European Innovation Council (EIC). Financed by the European Commission with investment advice from the European Investment Bank, its mission is to bridge the financing gap between public and private sectors for Europe's most promising deep tech startups and scaleups. With a capitalization exceeding €4 billion, the fund provides patient capital and strategic co-investments to empower visionary entrepreneurs. It aims to accelerate the market entry of breakthrough technologies, thereby enhancing Europe's global competitiveness and innovation leadership. The fund supports companies from Series Seed to Series B and beyond, primarily through the EIC Accelerator programme.
