TNO Ventures

TNO Ventures is a Corporate Venture Capital initiative launched in 2025 by The Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO). Its mission is to expedite technology transfer from research to market by fostering TNO spin-off companies and making strategic investments in external startups. They offer portfolio companies access to TNO's advanced technologies, expertise, and facilities in fields such as AI, medical technology, and integrated photonics. TNO Ventures acts as a strategic partner, often taking shares to reduce a startup's initial cash outlay, and supports their growth until a suitable exit. They manage a portfolio of over 45 companies and participate in 12 Dutch early-stage investment funds.
