As a Data Engineer, you design, build, and optimize modern data platforms and data pipelines in the cloud. You translate complex data challenges into smart, scalable solutions and ensure that data is secure, reliable, and easily accessible for analytics, dashboards, machine learning, and AI applications.
What will you do?
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms
- Integrate, transform, and expose data from various sources
- Develop cloud-native data solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Design and implement modern Data Warehouse and Lakehouse architectures
- Develop reliable datasets for dashboards, analytics, machine learning, and AI applications
- Optimize performance, scalability, and data quality
- Set up CI/CD processes and apply DataOps principles
- Advise customers on data architecture, integrations, and best practices
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Data Architects, and Analytics Consultants
What do you bring?
- At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Experience with SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT processes
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with data modeling and modern data architectures
- Affinity with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code
- Analytically strong, communicative, and enjoy thinking through technical solutions
- Excellent command of the Dutch language
