For ICTU we are seeking an Analytics Translator / AI Consultant. As an experienced Analytics Translator / AI Consultant, you bridge business, data and technology in the development and implementation of AI solutions.
You guide AI initiatives from requirements analysis and use-case development through proof of concept, implementation, adoption and governance. You translate complex business challenges into concrete AI solutions with demonstrable business value and advise on Responsible AI, privacy, compliance and AI governance within a complex government environment.
Experience with Generative AI and working within large organisations and the (national) government is essential. The organisation is increasingly applying AI and Generative AI to improve service delivery, operations and decision-making. You identify promising AI applications, guide implementations and ensure privacy, compliance and AI governance.

Job requirements:
- At least 3 years of work experience as an Analytics Translator, AI Consultant or in a similar role within AI or data projects
- At least 1 year of experience guiding Generative AI or Agentic AI initiatives from idea/use case through PoC and/or implementation
- At least 2 years of experience with AI governance, Responsible AI and/or privacy and compliance issues within a government organisation or public institution
- At least 3 years of experience translating complex business challenges into functional requirements, user stories and/or acceptance criteria for technical development teams
- At least 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe and/or Kanban) within AI, data or software development projects
- Work experience within at least one government organisation (national, provincial, municipal or executive agency) in an AI, data or digitalisation project
