Intern Data Scientist – Statistical Analysis & Process Improvement
At Growers United, you work on a pilot project where you use statistics to improve business processes. You combine data, analyses and advice to create impact.
Your tasks during the internship:
- Collect and structure data (process data, product properties, shift schedules)
- Perform statistical analyses (including regression and variance analyses)
- Translate insights into improvement recommendations for production and quality
- Present results to relevant teams
In addition, you get the opportunity to:
- Build your own templates and scripts for analyses
- Contribute ideas on KPI dashboards with statistics
- Conduct knowledge sessions with colleagues on your approach and tools
What you bring:
- You are in the final phase of a university or higher professional master's degree (e.g. Econometrics, Data Science, Technical Business Administration, Mathematics or Operations Research)
- You have experience with statistics and preferably with Python, R or Power BI
- You are curious, structured and enjoy engaging in conversation with people
- You are motivated to link analysis to real-world improvements in practice
