# Warehouse Team Leader – Eindhoven, Netherlands
## Overview
As Team Leader at Illumina in Eindhoven, you will play a pivotal role in leading daily warehouse operations and ensuring smooth, safe, and high-quality execution across all material handling activities. This is a fully hands-on position, working side-by-side with a team of Material Coordinators while providing day-to-day guidance, coaching, and clear operational direction.
## Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day hands-on leadership on the warehouse floor, working directly alongside Material Coordinators
- Guide, support, and motivate team members to ensure high performance and a positive, collaborative culture
- Execute core warehouse activities including goods receipt, material handling, storage, picking, packing, and internal deliveries
- Monitor daily workflows, assign priorities, and adjust resources to meet operational needs
- Ensure all activities are completed safely and in accordance with quality standards, SOPs, and site procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner closely with cross-functional colleagues to deliver reliable operational support
- Take ownership of documentation accuracy, inventory integrity, and issue resolution
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to anticipate needs and maintain a smooth supply chain flow
## Required Experience
- Proven experience leading teams in an operational or logistics environment
- Ability to balance people leadership with active participation in daily warehouse tasks
- Strong communication skills and understanding of safety and quality importance
- Ability to foster a positive and productive team atmosphere
- Problem-solving capability in a fast-moving environment
- Proficiency in English
- Experience in a regulated or high-quality environment is an advantage
