## About the team
The Applied AI team is Mistral's customer-facing technical organization. We work directly with enterprise customers from pre-sales through implementation to deploy advanced AI solutions that deliver measurable business value. The SRE team works across customer engagements and enables value creation through Mistral technology at scale.

## About the role
You are one of the founders of the Applied AI SRE sub-team. Your mission is to build and maintain together with the team the framework that ensures Mistral's solution delivery is reliable and sustainable - and uniformly applied across all accounts.

You work in four concurrent modes:

• BUILD - Design for a fleet of Mistral platforms and apps. Build in proactivity to reduce reactivity. Make reliability productive, write runbooks, create SLO templates, implement observability.
• RUN - Operate the Tier-1 customer environments that Mistral must keep running. Ensure SLO compliance, on-call and incident response, manage drift, collaborate with Technical Support as L3 escalation.
• ENABLE - Make Mistral's Applied AI solutions implementation, security and scaling production-ready. Engineer on-demand provisioning, write security baseline packages, embed security guardrails.
• SECURE - Provide the security operations layer for customer-side deployments. Lead CVE response, implement supply-chain integrity controls, collaborate with InfoSec on security incidents.

This is fundamentally a framework-first, fleet management role. If you are enthusiastic about the difference between solving one customer problem and structurally solving the entire class of problems for every customer, this is the right role.
