AI infrastructure Engineer (SRE) Amsterdam

As an AI Infrastructure Engineer (SRE), you are responsible for ensuring all user-facing services and production systems run smoothly. You are a combination of a pragmatic operator and software engineer who applies sound engineering principles, operational discipline, and mature automation to our operating environments and codebase.

You specialize in systems (operating systems, storage subsystems, networks), while implementing best practices for availability, reliability, and scalability, with varied interests in algorithms and distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

• On-call (PagerDuty) rotation for incident response that impacts availability
• Build and manage infrastructure with Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes for massive concurrency scaling
• Build monitoring systems for highest service quality
• Design and implement operational processes (deployments, upgrades)
• Debug production issues at all service levels
• Identify improvements for product architecture (reliability, performance, availability)
• Plan growth of Together AI's infrastructure
