Breda-based AI marketing company Aizy has acquired industry peer Uptmz and raised €2 million in additional funding in February 2026. This brings the valuation of the company, founded by Stefan Nuijten at the end of 2024, to €22 million, less than a year after its launch.
Through the acquisition of Uptmz, Aizy's customer base grows from just over 150 to more than 600 clients. Together, the two companies form a platform for automated advertising optimisation on Google, Microsoft and Meta. Total funding now stands at €3.5 million, following an earlier round of €1.5 million in growth capital in August 2025.
In its first year, Aizy achieved €2 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). The most recent round was led by founder Nuijten himself, alongside existing investors Michiel Mol, Joost van der Klooster and Gijs Nagel, co-founder of DeGiro.
Uptmz brings Google and Microsoft expertise
Uptmz was established within the agency group Springbok Group and continued as an independent company in 2022. The platform focused on automated campaign optimisation for Google and Microsoft Ads. Co-founder Vincent Stoit was involved in its further development.
Aizy itself was already focused on AI-driven performance marketing for SMEs, with clients in retail, e-commerce and automotive. Through the acquisition, the company combines Uptmz's technology and customer base with its own platform, which now also includes Meta advertising. The combined offering integrates software, AI optimisation and strategic guidance in a single environment.
Funding and valuation
The €2 million raised by Aizy in February 2026 is its second external round in quick succession. In August 2025, the company had already received €1.5 million in growth capital. Together, this brings total external funding to €3.5 million, matching the amount registered as seed financing in the DutchStartup database.
The €22 million valuation is notable for a company that is less than a year old. Investors Michiel Mol, Joost van der Klooster and Gijs Nagel, who participated in the previous round, have invested again. The fact that founder Nuijten co-led the round indicates that he is also increasing his own investment in the company.
With an ARR of €2 million in its first year and a valuation of €22 million, the valuation multiple stands at eleven times annual recurring revenue, which is typical for fast-growing early-stage SaaS companies.
Position in the AI marketing market
Aizy targets SMEs managing advertising budgets across the three major advertising platforms. The combination of automated optimisation and human expertise is an approach adopted by several players in the European market. Through the integration of Uptmz, Aizy gains a broader customer base and a longer product history on Google and Microsoft, while Meta advertising represents a more recent addition.
The acquisition fits a broader trend in which young AI companies use consolidation to scale more quickly than organic growth alone allows. For Aizy, the move represents a tripling of its customer base in a short period of time. Whether and how the two platforms will be fully integrated technically is not clear from available information.
For other Dutch AI startups targeting SMEs, developments at Aizy illustrate that consolidation through acquisition is a viable growth strategy alongside organic customer acquisition. Investors such as Gijs Nagel, with a background at DeGiro, are now visibly active in this segment of the Dutch startup market.
