From an office in Veldhoven, on De Run in the Brainport region of Eindhoven, dGEN Labs is working on three AI products for enterprises: a proprietary SaaS platform, a studio for AI-generated images and video, and an agency that delivers custom work to companies in the Netherlands and Flanders. The startup was founded by Mike Beerens and Bart van Rooij, and currently operates without external investors.
dGEN Productions, the company's service arm, was registered by Beerens in November 2025. The legal entity dGEN Labs B.V. was in the process of incorporation as of 25 September 2026, with dGEN Productions acting on behalf of the B.V. in the interim. Beerens previously founded TokenHunters and was involved with the Royalbarzz Calisthenics Organisatie. Van Rooij serves as Business Director.
The company follows an approach in which its own products are used internally before being offered to clients. This principle is a recurring argument in dGEN Labs' external positioning.
What dGENIX offers
dGEN Labs' flagship product is dGENIX, a SaaS platform with a built-in AI assistant called GENI. The platform features more than sixty so-called skills, concrete functions that users can deploy for a wide range of business tasks. Beerens and Van Rooij developed the platform in collaboration with Ro-tech Development.
dGENIX is structured around five thematic clusters, which the company calls 'Growth Engines'. These clusters focus on search engine optimisation (SEO), generative engine optimisation (GEO), authority building, reputation management and AI content production. Users can choose between a monthly or annual subscription; payments are processed via Stripe and charged in advance per period.
dGENIX servers are located within the EU and the platform is GDPR-compliant. Users must be at least eighteen years of age. The terms and conditions are dated 25 September 2026, coinciding with the formal incorporation date of the B.V.
Image, video and custom work as additional pillars
Alongside dGENIX, dGEN Labs operates two other products. dGEN Visual Studio is an AI environment for generating images and videos. The company describes the studio as working with current AI models for visual production, although the names of those models are not specified in publicly available sources.
dGEN Productions serves as the agency division of the company. It focuses on workflow automation, AI agents, chatbots, custom AI applications, GEO and LoRA pipelines. LoRA, short for Low-Rank Adaptation, is a technique that allows existing AI models to be efficiently fine-tuned on specific datasets, for example, to learn to recognise a particular house style or product line. dGEN Productions offers thirteen separate services and works with clients in the Netherlands and Flanders.
The office address is De Run 1141, first floor, unit 12, in Veldhoven. Visits are by appointment only.
Position in the Brainport region
dGEN Labs is one of the younger AI companies to have established itself in the Brainport region. The region, with Eindhoven at its core, is known for the presence of technology companies, knowledge institutions and a relatively active ecosystem for tech startups. Veldhoven itself is primarily known as the home of ASML, but also attracts smaller technology-focused businesses.
For dGEN Labs, that location provides access to a regional network of companies and potential clients in the manufacturing industry and related sectors, although the company's products are explicitly aimed at a broader audience of Dutch and Flemish enterprises.
The company has not attracted external funding to date. Revenue is tied to dGENIX's subscription structure and the project-based assignments of dGEN Productions. For early-stage AI startups in the Netherlands operating without venture capital, this is a familiar model: product revenues finance further development. Whether this approach will ultimately provide sufficient room for scaling cannot be assessed on the basis of publicly available information.
