The twelfth edition of the Intelligent Systems Conference, better known as IntelliSys, is scheduled for 3 and 4 September 2026 in Amsterdam. The event is organised by the Science and Information (SAI) Organization, which founded the conference in 2015, and attracts participants from more than fifty countries.
Amsterdam serves as the host city this year. The listed venues are the Van der Valk Hotel Amsterdam - Amstel and the Mercure Amsterdam City Hotel, both accessible via Joan Muyskenweg 10 in Amsterdam-Oost. Researchers, scientists and practitioners can participate either in person or remotely.
Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and will be eligible for publication in the Springer series Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems, a peer-reviewed book series widely used in applied computer science and systems research.
Those wishing to contribute to IntelliSys 2026 have two submission rounds available. The first round closes on 15 December 2025. Authors will be notified of acceptance by 15 January 2026, after which the final version of the paper must be submitted before 1 February 2026.
The second round runs until 1 February 2026. Acceptance notifications will follow on 1 March 2026, and the final version must be submitted before 15 March 2026. For those wishing to submit only an abstract or proposal, 1 March 2026 is the deadline.
The two-phase model gives researchers who complete their work in autumn and winter greater flexibility to participate in the conference in the autumn of 2026.
In-person participation costs £750. Remote participation is priced at £600. Both rates apply per participant and include access to the conference programme and associated publications. Pricing is listed in pound sterling, reflecting the British background of the SAI Organization as organiser.
The hybrid format enables participation by international researchers who are unable or unwilling to travel to the Netherlands. At the same time, physical attendance in Amsterdam provides an opportunity for direct exchange between participants.
The SAI Organization has been organising IntelliSys since its inaugural edition in 2015. The contact person for the conference is Supriya Kapoor. Muteki Group, a software engineering and AI consulting firm, follows the event as an external partner.
Through the events platform 10Times, 38 people had expressed interest in the conference at the time this data was published. That figure provides an initial indication of early awareness of the event, but says little about the eventual scale of participation.
IntelliSys 2026 coming to Amsterdam is in line with a broader trend of international scientific conferences in the fields of artificial intelligence and computer science choosing the Dutch capital as their base. Amsterdam has a dense concentration of technology companies, knowledge institutions and well-connected conference facilities, making it an attractive destination for international organisers.
For Dutch researchers, AI startups and investors looking to follow developments in applied intelligent systems, the September 2026 conference offers a direct opportunity to connect with an international network without having to travel. Whether that potential is realised will depend in part on the final composition of the programme, which has not yet been published.
