Supplied AI, an Amsterdam-based startup that automates compliance processes for digital platforms, completed a seed round of €1.6 million in July 2025. The round was led by Munich-based Rethink Ventures and Amsterdam-based Volve Capital, with participation from Volta Ventures, EWOR and Newschool.VC, supplemented by a number of angel investors.
The company was founded in 2024 by Johann Rozario and Vladimir Ivanov. Bas Bogerd serves as Chief Commercial Officer. Supplied Technologies B.V., as the legal entity is named, is registered with the Chamber of Commerce in Zwolle but operates from Amsterdam. The platform targets digital marketplaces, fintechs and e-commerce companies that face a growing body of European and international regulation.
With the new funding, Supplied AI intends to expand its engineering and customer service teams and deepen integrations with ERP and CRM systems, specifically connections with platforms such as SAP, Salesforce and Stripe. The company aims to double its headcount by the end of 2025.
What the platform does
Supplied AI consolidates onboarding, data aggregation and reporting into a single layer. The system automates processes around KYC (Know Your Customer), KYB (Know Your Business) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and supports reporting under regulatory frameworks including DAC7, DAC8, CSRD and OECD guidelines for digital platforms.
DAC7 is the European directive that requires platform operators to collect income data from sellers and report it to tax authorities. For marketplaces and other digital intermediaries, this creates considerable administrative obligations, particularly when they operate across multiple countries. Supplied AI positions itself as an infrastructure layer that allows platforms to fulfil these obligations without having to integrate each regulatory framework separately.
The company already serves more than fifty customers across Europe, spanning sectors such as travel, e-commerce and fintech.
Investors and background
The two lead investors each have a distinct profile. Rethink Ventures is an early-stage fund based in Munich with a focus on B2B software companies in Europe. Volve Capital is an Amsterdam-based fund that invests in technology companies in the Benelux and surrounding regions.
Volta Ventures, active from Belgium and the Netherlands, likewise focuses on early-stage B2B software. EWOR is a European programme that supports founders with capital and network access. Newschool.VC is an early-stage fund focused on European technology startups.
Among the angel investors are Christoph Morbee, Michiel Goris, Constantine Gerasimovich and Ardan Bousche, known from ClickPatrol.
Growing regulatory pressure as a market driver
The timing of the round coincides with a period in which European regulation for digital platforms is expanding rapidly. In addition to DAC7, which came into force in 2023, platforms expect to face DAC8 (targeting crypto assets) and CSRD reporting requirements in the coming years. For smaller platforms without dedicated compliance departments, implementing all these frameworks represents a significant technical and organisational challenge.
Supplied AI addresses that situation by centralising the technical burden. Rather than building a separate integration for each regulation, platforms can handle multiple obligations through a single connection. The planned deepening of ERP and CRM integrations aligns with customers' desire to link compliance data directly to existing business systems.
For the Dutch and broader European startup scene, Supplied AI illustrates a wider trend: the emergence of so-called regtech infrastructure companies that step in to address the increasing complexity of digital regulation. Investors in the region are showing growing interest in this segment, partly because demand from enterprise customers is structural in nature and difficult to resolve in-house. The fact that a young company like Supplied AI already serves fifty European customers within its first year of operation gives funds such as Rethink and Volve sufficient signal to enter at an early stage.
