Opening night, 22 September, RAI Amsterdam. The first real session of HumanX Amsterdam puts Max Junestrand on stage with Benchmark general partner Chetan Puttagunta, under the title "How to Disrupt Centuries-Old Industries". Junestrand runs Legora, the Stockholm legal AI company that raised $550 million at a $5.55 billion valuation in March, led by Accel, with roughly 800 law firms and legal teams on the books.
Then read the rest of the list. Roughly 200 speakers, five tracks, three days. This is a serious speaker line-up, and it is coming to the Netherlands.
The founders Europe usually has to fly to see
Lovable, valued at $13.3 billion after its August round, sends co-founder and CTO Fabian Hedin for a solo session called "When the Barrier to Building Software Falls". Celonis co-CEO Alexander Rinke takes on "Can Europe Actually Build Sovereign AI?" with Balderton's James Wise. Cohere Chief AI Officer Joelle Pineau appears twice, once on sovereign AI and once on the efficiency race with Station F director Roxanne Varza.
The builder bench keeps going. Jan Oberhausen of n8n. Andrey Khusid of Miro. Arvind Jain of Glean. May Habib of WRITER. Clay Bavor of Sierra, asking whether AI is killing SaaS. Alex Kendall of Wayve. Matt Rouif of Photoroom. Malte Kosub of Parloa. Linda Tong of Webflow. Kirill Skrygan of JetBrains. Spencer Kimball of Cockroach Labs.
Add the platform weight: Nikesh Arora, CEO of Palo Alto Networks. Swami Sivasubramanian, VP of Agentic AI at AWS, on moving from models to agents. Kareem Ayoub of Google DeepMind. Colin Jarvis of OpenAI. Xuedong Huang, CTO of Zoom. Dina Katabi of MIT.
And the buyers, which is the part most conferences cannot get. Susan Jones, Chief Data Officer at Diageo, sits with Booking.com Chief Business Officer James Waters on a panel bluntly titled "Deploying At Scale: The True Cost of AI". ING CTO and board member Daniele Tonella talks operations with FedEx. JP Morgan's Chief AI Technologist takes automated finance. Michelin, Nestlé, IKEA, Deutsche Telekom and Heathrow all send senior representatives. KLM CEO Marjan Rintel is on the list too.
Session | Who is on it | Why it is worth the seat |

How to Disrupt Centuries-Old Industries | Legora, Benchmark | A European vertical AI company competing with US incumbents on their own terms |
Deploying At Scale: The True Cost of AI | Diageo, Booking.com | Enterprise buyers citing real numbers in public |
Can Europe Actually Build Sovereign AI? | Celonis, Balderton Capital | The question the entire continent is debating |
When the Barrier to Building Software Falls | Lovable | What a $13.3 billion company thinks happens to software teams |
The Dutch line-up is stronger than people acknowledge
Here is the part worth highlighting. Techleap's Constantijn van Oranje takes the stage on "Europe's Billion Euro Problem" with Owkin CEO Thomas Clozel. Jelle Prins of Cradle joins the sovereign AI panel. Job van der Voort of Remote discusses hiring and reskilling with agents. Aikido Security founder Willem Delbare sits on a session about how attackers actually use AI, alongside CISOs from Noma and Tenable.
Then Max Welling of CuspAI opening Wednesday on materials discovery. Fabrizio Del Maffeo of Eindhoven chipmaker Axelera AI asking whether Europe can build its own stack. Bianca Zwart of bunq. Euro Beinat of Prosus. Jorn van Dijk of Framer. Pim de Witte of General Intuition. Patrick Mans of Philips.
That is a country showing up as builders, buyers and infrastructure at the same time.
Why the RAI, and why it matters
HumanX describes this as the first major US AI summit to establish a permanent European presence, and it chose Amsterdam for its position as a gateway into Europe and the Middle East, the Dutch approach to AI governance and the local technology infrastructure.
"We welcome HumanX and its global community to The Netherlands. Hosting the EMEA event in Amsterdam will facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing, and help our ecosystem to connect and thrive in this fast-changing field."
Constantijn van Oranje, co-founder and executive director, Techleap.
The figures behind it: 2,500 or more attendees, 60 percent VP level and above, 200 speakers, 150 sponsors, 150 journalists. For three days in September, the people deciding how European enterprises actually deploy AI will be in one building, and that building is in Amsterdam. The Dutch ecosystem spent years flying to San Francisco for a fraction of this access. In September the flight goes the other way.
