Joep Wegstapel is the co-founder of Verticai, a spin-off from Utrecht University's Care2Report research program, established in September 2023. He is dedicated to reducing administrative burdens in healthcare by developing AI-powered software that automates the generation of conversation reports and documentation. His expertise includes intellectual property appropriation strategies, particularly for university IT spinoffs, as evidenced by his Master's thesis which used Verticai as a case study.
