Wie ze zijn

Over

Het EIC Fund, opgericht in 2020, is de durfkapitaalarm van de European Innovation Council (EIC). Gefinancierd door de Europese Commissie met beleggingsadvies van de Europese Investeringsbank, streeft het ernaar de financieringsgap tussen openbare en private sector te overbruggen voor Europa's meest veelbelovende deep tech startups en scaleups. Met een kapitaal van meer dan €4 miljard biedt het fonds geduldig kapitaal en strategische co-investeringen om visionaire ondernemers te ondersteunen. Het doel is de marktintroductie van baanbrekende technologieën te versnellen en daarmee Europese mondiale concurrentiekracht en innovatief leiderschap te versterken. Het fonds ondersteunt bedrijven van Series Seed tot Series B en daarboven, primair via het EIC Accelerator-programma.
