As an AI Engineer at Boels, you work in three-week sprints as part of a multidisciplinary Scrum team. You collaborate closely with a Product Owner, two business analysts and two data scientists to design, build and continuously improve AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AI solutions, including AI agents, chatbots, RAG pipelines and multi-agent systems that support business processes and decision-making
- Translate business requirements into robust solution designs and provide technical guidance on architecture, technology selection and strategic AI investments
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, knowledge retrieval mechanisms and context-driven data solutions for accurate and reliable AI performance
- Evaluate, test, monitor and optimize AI models and applications for quality, reliability, scalability, cost-efficiency and performance
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify valuable AI use cases, validate concepts through experimentation and deliver solutions in Agile DevOps teams
- Share AI expertise by creating technical documentation, mentoring team members and promoting AI knowledge and best practices across the organization
