# Thesis Research LLM-UX Layer for Dashboard
Equans is seeking a thesis student to develop a research and prototype solution integrating a Large Language Model (LLM) chat component within a dashboard environment.
## The Challenge
Explore how an LLM can be deployed as an intelligent UX layer on top of a dashboard connected to various internal systems. The goal is an intuitive user experience that makes complex data (HR, projects, engineering, asset management) accessible through natural language.
## Assignment Description
The assignment consists of four phases:
### Research
- Inventory user needs across multiple departments
- Formulate relevant use cases for an LLM-UX layer
- Design a conceptual architecture for data integration and query-to-action translation
- Analyze risks (privacy, reliability, adoption)
### Design
- Develop UX flows for a dashboard with integrated chat
- Design a generic method for displaying answers (tables, summaries, priority lists, KPI views)
### Implementation (Prototype)
- Implement a web dashboard with an LLM chat component
- Build a backend that translates queries into data actions and returns results
- Work out at least three end-to-end scenarios from different domains
- Test with actual users within Equans
### Delivery
- Research report + recommendations
- UX concept and wireframes
- Working prototype
- Presentation to stakeholders
