# Applied Data Scientist

You are an applied data scientist in the team with access to one of Swift's most valuable assets: data. Your mandate is to find innovative ways to leverage that data, either to support business strategy or to design new data-driven insights or solutions for our clients. You will work on topics such as anomaly detection, predictive modelling, synthetic data generation and exploring the potential of generative AI.

## Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development and implementation of advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and align data-driven solutions with organizational objectives
• Own the full lifecycle of data science projects, from ideation to deployment
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
• Manage stakeholders and communicate complex technical findings to non-technical audiences
• Promote best practices in data science and machine learning
• Ensure data science solutions comply with governance and compliance standards
