Lima Labs is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement computer vision solutions in agriculture.
## What you will do
Core responsibilities (80%):
- Design, develop and deploy computer vision models for object detection, segmentation, classification and tracking
- Collaborate with data scientists on experiments with state-of-the-art deep learning architectures (CNNs, Vision Transformers)
- Build and maintain efficient data pipelines for image and video data, including preprocessing, augmentation and annotation workflows
- Optimize models for performance, scalability and deployment across different platforms (cloud, edge, mobile)
- Run experiments, model evaluation and result analysis for iterative improvements
- Work with product and engineering teams to integrate models into production systems
- Stay informed of advances in computer vision and machine learning research
- Document models, experiments and system architecture

## What you have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field (PhD is a plus)
- 3+ years of practical experience in machine learning, with at least 2 years in computer vision applications
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX)
- Good understanding of deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers) and their application to visual tasks
- Experience with large-scale image and video datasets and related tools (OpenCV, Albumentations, COCO format)
- Proficiency in model optimization and deployment techniques (ONNX, TensorRT, quantization, pruning)
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and workflows for training, tracking and deployment
- Strong foundation in mathematics, linear algebra and probability theory
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
