## Enterprise Account Executive – VAST Data
VAST Data is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive business growth across enterprise customers and channel partners. You will be responsible for:
- Developing business across a mix of enterprise customers
- Generating revenue and working closely with Channel Partners to sell the VAST Data offering
- Managing the sales process aligned with customer buying cycles
- Managing customer relationships from first meeting through proof of concept and post-sale expansion
- Developing and presenting proposals demonstrating VAST solution value
- Prospecting large accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business
- Working with systems resellers and integrators for market leverage
- Developing account expansion strategies and enabling post-sales customer success
### Requirements
- Minimum 7 years Direct Enterprise selling experience
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business with large enterprise customers
- History of developing selling regions from the ground up with limited resources
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; mix of large company and startup experience preferred
- Ability to speak with customers and partners at both business and technical levels
- Knowledge of storage industry: NFS, Object Storage, and Enterprise Computing architectures
- Competitive attitude and strong work ethic
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Desire to evangelize new technologies that resonate with customers
