Beschrijving

CSAIL's Living Lab is designed to feel like a real human environment because that's where these robots need to work. By bringing humanoid robots into human-centered spaces, researchers can study how robots learn everyday tasks, collaborate with or work alongside people, and navigate a world built around the human form. Hear from CSAIL Assistant Professor Andreea Bobu as well as graduate students Wil Norton and Jared Boyer. In this video, you will learn: Why the frontier of AI is increasingly about how it meets the physical world How the Living Lab's human-like environment enables more realistic robot training Why humanoid robots are well-suited to navigate spaces designed for humans How the Living Lab fosters collaboration across multiple research groups and industry partners Visit our website to learn more about the Living Lab and other MIT CSAIL research: https://cap.csail.mit.edu/
