As a Senior Data Scientist, you are a driving force within the Data & AI team at adesso. You lead trajectories from exploration to implementation, translate business questions into working models, and help organizations become structurally data-driven.
What you do:
- You lead data science projects with a focus on business value
- You design and implement scalable ML and GenAI solutions
- You translate analyses into concrete recommendations for stakeholders
- You shepherd models from experiment to production
- You coach junior and mid-level data scientists
- You contribute to internal knowledge, standards, and product development
- You stay current with developments in AI, MLOps, and data platforms
What you bring:
- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
- Experience leading end-to-end data science trajectories
- Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and AI applications
- Advanced Python skills
- Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras
- Knowledge of MLOps and CI/CD (Git, containers, dependency management)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, or comparable platforms
- Practical experience with LLMs and generative AI tooling
- You can explain complex concepts clearly to non-specialists
