## About the role and team
Catawiki is looking for a Senior Data Scientist – Product Insights to work with Product teams and leverage data to identify opportunities in the user journey and measure the success of product features and teams.

You are part of the Data Science Product Insights Team and help make data meaningful, find actionable insights and create self-service solutions by combining data from multiple sources and working closely with colleagues in other departments.

In this role, no two days will be the same: you build dashboards, design and analyze A/B tests, discover trends in user behavior, collaborate with Data colleagues on discovery for new ML models, or improve the reliability of data pipelines.

## What you will do

• Own analytics for a broad product area – You take full ownership of a large part of the platform and build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Turn data into insights and recommendations – You go beyond simply tracking metrics; you define and refine key success measures, discover trends and translate data into clear recommendations
• Use advanced analytics – Techniques such as regression analysis, causal inference and A/B testing to analyze user behavior
• Enable data-driven decision-making at scale – You identify and implement self-service data solutions

## Who you are

• Experienced data leader with 6+ years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably in an online business
• Advanced technical skills in SQL and coding (Python, R or other language)
• Deep statistical expertise with techniques such as regression analysis, causal inference, time series modeling and hypothesis testing
• Experience with web and app analytics, Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
• Practical experience designing and evaluating A/B tests and other experiments
• Strategic problem solver with strong communication skills
• Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
