# Data Science Manager for Europe
As Data Science Manager for Europe, you will lead and grow a team of talented Data Scientists. You will deliver data-driven solutions that enable customers to make impactful business decisions. You are responsible for building a high-performing team, driving technical excellence, and ensuring successful execution across industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, and Manufacturing.
## Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Data Scientists in Europe, with emphasis on collaboration, innovation and continuous learning
- Provide technical leadership in data science methodologies, machine learning, optimization and GenAI applications
- Ensure successful delivery of customer projects with focus on quality and scalable solutions
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for data science value
- Support the development and implementation of scalable solutions for customer use cases
- Guide teams through data exploration, cleansing, feature engineering, model development and operationalization
- Promote the application of GenAI techniques to improve decision-making
- Ensure best practices in model development, implementation and project management
- Contribute to reusable solution templates, frameworks and data science standards
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Delivery teams
- Support customers in advanced data science activities
- Participate in hiring, workforce planning and performance management
- Serve as trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and customers
