As an AI Governance Engineer, you are responsible for the technical implementation of our AI governance platform in customer environments, from proof-of-concept to full adoption. You translate regulations and compliance requirements into concrete technical configurations on the Deeploy platform and ensure that what is built remains robust in production. You work directly with the COO and work closely with sales and product, giving you direct influence on customer outcomes and product evolution.
What you do:
- Design and deliver proof-of-concepts that demonstrate how governance requirements translate into measurable, working configurations within a customer's existing AI infrastructure
- Ensure end-to-end technical implementation: from mapping compliance requirements to scoping, integration, and go-live
- Build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders in customer accounts
- Identify expansion opportunities and pass these to the sales team with clear context
- Translate customer feedback and implementation patterns into product insights
- Build reusable playbooks, templates, and integration guides that increase team capacity
What we are looking for:
- 2-5 years of experience in a role in technical implementation, solution engineering, or ML engineering
- Practical experience with data, AI, or ML workflows in a production context with understanding of governance and compliance at that level
- Comfort working with technical stakeholders (data scientists, ML engineers, IT) and business stakeholders simultaneously
- Fluent command of English and Dutch
- A degree in a technical field (Engineering, Data Science, Econometrics, or similar)
Plus points:
- Experience in a regulated industry (finance, healthcare, public sector)
- Knowledge of AI compliance frameworks (EU AI Act, model risk management)
- Experience in a startup or fast-growing scale-up environment
