Senior Data Scientist Energy Forecasting

As a Data Scientist at Kenter and Groendus, you are part of the forecasting & optimization department. The team focuses on expanding the forecasting platform, developing control algorithms and creating trading strategies at asset and portfolio level.

Your responsibilities include:

• Implementing improvements to current prediction models
• Writing production-quality code
• Shaping the vision for further development of the forecasting platform and integration of forecasting in control processes
• Contributing to optimization of portfolio decisions, such as minimizing imbalance
• Mentoring and coaching junior colleagues

You will work on diverse topics, take on considerable responsibility early on and play a crucial role in product development. The role requires independence and adaptability due to rapid priority shifts. You will gain deep insights into the energy market, data science and software development.
