Senior Machine Learning Engineer

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Picnic you will design and implement intelligent systems to solve the company's greatest challenges. You are responsible for productionizing models with strong monitoring and seamless integration into operational systems. You work closely with stakeholders to ensure the right problems are being solved and that solutions have real impact.

Tasks:

• Identify and execute improvement opportunities together with other ML Engineers and (product) analysts
• Collaborate on projects from inception to production and continuous improvement
• Develop tools and enhancements for our cloud-based Machine Learning platform

Possible projects:

• Demand forecasting: delivery, article, and trip volumes across Picnic
• Fraud detection: help keep problematic users out of our store
• Recommendation systems: generate useful in-app shopping suggestions
• Search and ranking: help customers find exactly what they need
• Predicting delivery drop-off times: ensure we arrive at every customer on time
• Vision: quality control and smooth operations in our warehouse
