# Internship - Software Engineering

Own an end-to-end project in a real production environment as an integral part of one of our teams. At Picnic, your skills will be taken to the next level with the latest technology. From optimizing large-scale vehicle routing with advanced solver technologies to productionizing AI-driven quality gates in our release pipelines, you'll work on problems that directly impact our operations. You might even find yourself building robust testing frameworks for automated warehouse systems, bridging the gap between software and real-world logistics.

## What you'll do

• Drive projects with strong motivation to learn and improve, taking ownership while working closely with colleagues
• Design, test, and improve key aspects of operations with mentorship
• Take ownership of a project, bringing creativity and analytical thinking
• Explore and optimize systems, understanding how code contributes to business goals

## Tech stacks available

Backend: Java25, Python, Springboot, MongoDB
ML: Python, LLM APIs (Claude, GPT)
Other: Solvers (such as Timefold), SQL, protocol buffers

## Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related technical field (just finished or about to finish)
• EU nationality required
• Collaborative mindset, ready to engage with the team
• Motivated to challenge the status quo and drive innovative solutions
• Strong English skills
