# AI Engineer at RevoData

RevoData is a boutique Data & AI consultancy and Databricks Gold partner. We are looking for an AI Engineer who masters the full lifecycle of AI systems - from experimentation through production deployment and monitoring.

## About the role

As an AI Engineer you embed with clients to design and build AI solutions that solve real business problems. You combine strong technical skills with curiosity and pragmatism, bridging the gap between experimentation and production.

You are a builder who performs equally well in the first and last mile of AI - the space between a cool demo and a robust, production-ready system. You don't just ship a working prototype; you can prove it works and then make it measurably better.

## What we're looking for

• Experience with full AI system lifecycle: from early experimentation through deployment and monitoring
• Expertise with LLMs & GenAI: production-grade GenAI applications, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, fine-tuning
• Comfort with GenAI frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic AI, Hugging Face, DSPy
• Evaluation-driven mindset: you establish baselines, define relevant metrics and iterate based on measured results
• Understanding of LLMOps & MLOps: experiment tracking, model versioning, observability, deployment, CI/CD
• Experience with data pipelines: training and inference pipelines that scale in production
• Pragmatic Python Engineer: extensive experience with Python and data/ML libraries, clean testable code
• Cloud deployment experience: AWS, Azure or GCP
• Consultant mindset: you are client-facing, advise, translate vague business challenges into technical roadmaps

## Nice to haves

• Databricks experience or certification (ML Engineer or GenAI Engineer)
• Deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• LLMOps tooling in production (evaluation, monitoring, drift detection)
• Dutch language skills

## Ramp-up program

No Databricks experience? No problem. For candidates without a Databricks background, we offer a 7-month crash course with certifications, hands-on client project work and knowledge sessions. This trajectory leads to a permanent contract upon reaching agreed milestones.
