Principal Data Engineer

RevoData is seeking a Principal Data Engineer/Architect with deep expertise in designing and building scalable data platforms. You will operate at the intersection of data engineering, technical leadership and client trust.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead data platforms from concept to production and own outcomes
• Make and implement architectural decisions on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
• Bring structure and direction to complex, ambiguous situations
• Shape technical vision and help others grow
• Influence decisions at the intersection of technology and business

Required Experience:

• Brought multiple data platforms from concept to reality
• Deep understanding of Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Mosaic AI)
• Ability to translate ambiguity into concrete architecture and approach
• Balance between pragmatism and quality
• Experience with platform structuring, code deployment and data governance
