# Fabric Data Engineer
Join Xebia Data as a Fabric Data Engineer and help organizations adopt Microsoft Fabric the right way. You'll design lakehouses and data pipelines, define best practices, and bring software engineering discipline to the data platform world.
## What You'll Be Doing
- Design lakehouses and data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric
- Define and implement CI/CD practices for Fabric
- Manage environments, promotion, and workspace structure
- Work with Azure, AWS, GCP, and open-source tools (Spark, Terraform, dbt)
- Communicate design choices and help align stakeholders
- Work on projects of varying lengths (3 weeks to 1 year) with mixed teams of Xebians and client engineers
- Learn from diverse environments and industries

## Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience (though exceptional talent considered regardless)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Strong software engineering fundamentals (version control, testing, CI/CD, code review)
- Experience with or interest in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and tools like Spark, Terraform, dbt, Airflow
- Enjoy working with different clients and learning in new environments
- Must reside in the Netherlands
