## The Work

As a data engineer you work at one of our clients such as Lely, ING, ASML or KLM on challenging projects:

• Help data-driven organisations move, process and store data by building data warehouses, data lakes and distributed data meshes
• Productionalize machine learning models
• Apply engineering practices to choose the best tools for the job
• Use raw data from data pipelines to create production-ready scalable applications built on data and AI

## The Training Programme

• 2 full-time weeks of hands-on bootcamp training focused on deployable code, containerization, data engineering and cloud fundamentals
• 4 days per week working as a data engineer at one of the clients
• Every Friday at the Xccelerated office in Amsterdam or remotely for ongoing training and project support from technical leads
• After the first year opportunity to work directly for the partner organisation

## Responsibilities

You collaborate with other medior and senior team members on complex projects: building data pipelines, productionalizing machine learning models and creating custom software solutions. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty with infrastructure, both in the cloud and on-premises. You apply engineering practices to choose tools that balance complexity, maintainability, development speed, quality and value.
