Founding AI Engineer

Founding AI Engineer at HelloPrint, a mission-driven company transforming the customizable printed products industry with AI-first infrastructure. You will work directly with the founding team (CEO Hans and CIO/Chief AI Officer Michael) to identify and own the highest-impact problems across the platform rebuild.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities and own them end-to-end: from commercial case through production deployment and measurement
• Define success metrics and scope solutions before implementation
• Build production-standard systems with monitoring, testing, and cost management
• Measure commercial outcomes (revenue generated or cost removed)
• Work on high-leverage problems including: dynamic pricing and margin optimization across 14 markets, agentic procurement, customer journey automation, intelligent content and SEO infrastructure, predictive demand and inventory management, and internal tooling

You will work in a flat structure with no hierarchy or management layers. Everyone, including the founding team, builds. Full lifecycle ownership means your work goes live and is depended upon by a real business with 600,000 customers.

This role requires someone who has been building since childhood, not because asked but because they could not stop. You identify AI solutions commercially, build them, and ship them before validation. Everything you ship is in production with real numbers. You measure work in revenue or cost impact, not technical metrics.
