# AI Legal Engineer Intern
Hunter Douglas is seeking an AI Legal Engineer Intern for the EMEA Legal & Compliance team. You will work at the intersection of law, technology, data and business transformation.
## What you do
- Support the development and implementation of AI-driven legal workflows
- Identify, map and improve legal and compliance processes
- Design, test and roll out legal automation tools
- Contract review, data extraction and contract lifecycle management
- Implementation and optimization of Contract Management Systems and Document Management Systems
- Creation of dashboards, trackers and reporting tools
- AI use case testing, prompt design and quality assurance
- Development of playbooks, templates and training materials
- Data clean-up, taxonomy design and document classification
- Identification of automation and process improvement opportunities
- Legal research and contract summaries
- Support of compliance and governance projects
## Who you are
- Student in HBO, Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Information Systems, Engineering, Legal Tech, Business Analytics or related discipline
- Interested in AI, automation and data-driven tools for legal workflows
- Comfortable with structured data, documents and process mapping
- Analytical, structured and detail-oriented
- Proactive, curious and willing to learn
- Fluent in English; Dutch or other European languages an advantage

- Practical experience with tools, dashboards, automation or AI workflows
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
