Software Engineer, AI Automation

Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join the AI Automation team as Insify's internal forward-deployed AI engineer. You will design, build, and ship AI-powered features and agentic workflows across Insify's product and operations, including SmartGuide (AI-powered funnel assistant), underwriting automation, claims triage, and internal operations tools.

Key responsibilities:

• Extend and improve SmartGuide, deployed across NL and FR, expanding to new products and countries
• Design and ship agentic workflows automating high-volume insurance tasks: underwriting pre-screening, sanctions checks, document verification, claims triage, and customer support routing
• Build LLM orchestration layer and evaluation infrastructure for reliable AI deployment in regulated industry
• Partner with Insurance, Operations, and Claims teams to identify automation opportunities
• Own AI reliability in production, diagnosing and fixing issues
• Contribute to Insify's AI platform: shared tooling, model integrations, retrieval systems
• Set standards for responsible AI engineering: factual grounding, auditability, compliance, and fallbacks

You own AI features end-to-end: identify opportunity, build system, ship it, measure it, and fix it when it breaks. This is not an ML research role.
