Research Engineer Deep Learning en Computer Vision

As a Research Engineer in Deep Learning and Computer Vision, you are responsible for developing and implementing deep learning algorithms for human-centric applications such as facial analysis, eye tracking and pose analysis. You design and conduct experiments to evaluate and improve model performance and accuracy. You collaborate with fellow researchers and engineers to deliver production-ready solutions. You integrate models into existing software environments and support deployment and optimization. You keep abreast of the latest developments in computer vision and deep learning and apply this knowledge directly within projects. You build and maintain data pipelines and annotation tools to efficiently manage and validate training datasets.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or comparable field
• Several years of relevant experience with deep learning and computer vision at mid-level
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with C# or similar languages
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch and with model training and evaluation
• Knowledge of classical image, video and signal processing and experience with datasets and annotation
• Scientific, experimental mindset and demonstrable problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English
