Graduate internship at Avanade, an international IT consultancy with a focus on Microsoft technology. You work on one of two possible topics:
- AI-Supported Decision Recommendations in Analytics Solutions: Investigate how AI can generate decision recommendations in a responsible and explainable manner. You will research decision support, recommendation logic, and ethical considerations (bias, accountability, human control). Using public or synthetic data, you create a Power BI proof of concept with AI-supported recommendations, including evidence, assumptions, and uncertainty indicators.
- Natural Language Analytics over a Semantic Model (GenAI): Investigate how GenAI enables natural-language analytics with a strong semantic foundation. You will work on natural-language analytics, semantic modeling, and business glossaries. You create a Power BI proof of concept demonstrating how natural language questions are translated into analytical questions with a controlled semantic layer.
You work closely with senior engineers, developers, and architects and receive guidance during the research and build phases. You also receive soft skills training and the opportunity to obtain a Microsoft certificate.
