# Graduation Internship IT Consulting – Data Analytics & Visualization

Avanade is looking for enthusiastic fourth-year HBO or master's students for a graduation internship starting 1 September 2026. You will work on challenging projects in data analysis and business intelligence, gaining practical experience with modern data technologies and AI-driven techniques.

## Possible graduation assignments:

### 1. AI-Supported Decision Recommendations in Analytics Solutions
Examine how AI can generate decision recommendations in a responsible and explainable manner. You will explore decision support, recommendation logic and ethical considerations (bias, accountability, human oversight). Using public or synthetic data, you will create a Power BI proof of concept with AI-supported recommendations, evidence, assumptions and uncertainty indicators.

Research question: "How can AI-supported recommendations improve business decision-making without reducing transparency, control or accountability?"

### 2. Natural Language Analytics over a Semantic Model (GenAI)
Examine how Generative AI enables natural-language analytics. You will explore natural-language analytics, semantic modelling and business glossaries. The core challenge is designing an interaction where GenAI interprets user questions, but all calculations remain based on predefined business semantics. You will develop a Power BI proof of concept that translates natural-language questions into analytical questions.

Research question: "How can Generative AI enable natural-language analytics while maintaining consistency with business definitions and analytical semantics?"

## What we expect from you:

• Interest in analytics, data analysis, business intelligence and data visualization
• Possible experience with Power BI, SQL, datasets and requirements gathering
• Proficiency in Dutch and English
• Motivation, proactivity and independence
• Openness to collaboration and new contacts

You will work closely with senior engineers, developers and architects and receive guidance during the research and development phases. You will also receive soft skills training and the opportunity to obtain a Microsoft certificate.
